Test for the 14-Day Temporary Boater Certificate
Welcome to the New Hampshire Marine Patrol Temporary Boating Certificate Test.
You must be at least 16 years old to take this test.
Follow these steps to take the test:
- Read this entire page carefully. When you are ready, click on the CONTINUE button below.
- On the next screen, enter the required personal information. This information will appear on your 14-day temporary boater certificate that you will recieve if you pass the test. When you finish entering your information, click on the button labeled BEGIN TEST .
- The next screen is the test questions. Answer the 25 multiple choice and true/false questions by clicking on the best answer for each question. When you finish answering the test questions, click on the button labeled FINISHED. All questions must be answered. This test is timed and you must complete this step of the testing process within 25 minutes.
- To pass the test you must correctly answer at least 20 of the 25 questions. If you pass, your 14-day temporary boater certificate will be displayed on the next screen. You must print out your certificate there or after reviewing the test critique.
